Welcome to Impressions, the First Colonial High School Literary Arts Magazine. Our mission is to provide an outlet for talented students to express their creative minds through literary and artistic pieces. This magazine aims to showcase the diversity of our high school community. The works included are the exemplary efforts of this year’s submissions selected by the Impressions Staff.

This year our staff has enjoyed one of the largest contingents in recent years. An assortment of each grade level has combined to produce a well-rounded staff. Breaking the tradition of over a decade, our magazine has decided to make itself more accessible to everyone by publishing it online. In the growing age of technology, the Internet is a facet that allows us to publish without constraints while reaching a multitude of viewers.

Through the dedication of our staff we have designed and built this website. It is entirely our own work enhanced with the submissions of our staff and students at First Colonial. We have selected, edited, and prepared this issue so that you the viewer may enjoy what the magazine has to offer. We hope you have gratifying experience while indulging in Impressions.
